Inspired by Sensational Spider-Man vol. 2, issue #40, this fan film explores Peter's faith, responsibility, and humanity.

Our initial campaign raised approximately 15–20% of its original goal. We adapted and moved into production with the resources available.
With a small amount of filming remaining, visual effects are the biggest funding gap. Contributions support the artists and post-production work needed to complete the film while preserving the story's ambition.

The Story
This campaign is for a Spider-Man short film, a passion project based on a pivotal moment from the comics: Sensational Spider-Man vol. 2 Issue #40. This story explores a deeply personal struggle for Peter Parker after he reveals his identity to the world. When a hitman's bullet meant for him strikes Aunt May, Peter is pushed to his absolute limit, confronting his grief and the consequences of his choices. This journey culminates in a powerful encounter with The One Above All, the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe.
This isn't just another Spider-Man fan film; it's a deeply personal story about a hero's struggle with faith, responsibility, and the nature of suffering.
The Update: Getting Over the Hump
When we initially launched this campaign, we were incredibly grateful to raise about 15% to 20% of our original goal. True to our word, we didn't give up—we adapted and moved forward into production with what we had.
Right now, we only have a little bit of filming left, but we have hit a critical roadblock: we straight-up do not have enough funds for our post-production VFX work. We are already cutting out shots and scenes to accommodate the low budget, but we need your help getting over the hump. Your contribution will directly fund the visual effects artists needed to bring this to life without having to compromise
Double Feature: Spider-Man: Descent
We are pushing ourselves to the limit by filming a second short film, Spider-Man: Descent, at the exact same time. A portion of the funds raised here will also go directly toward finishing Descent, meaning your contribution helps bring two ambitious Spider-Man fan films across the finish line.
